So it's good to know that for floors 5 and 6 and up to the mezzanine you have to carry the suitcases. The elevator goes from the mezzanine floor to floor 4. We had to ask several times for extra towels, soaps and shampoos, which were always promptly provided. The reception staff are friendly and most helpful. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars just outside. Outside of the hotel is a little kiosk that sells almost everything. This made the rooms quite dark with little daylight, but also very quiet. Our rooms were facing to the back, looking at another building wall. Drinks in the room bar fridge are reasonably priced, a welcome surprise. Coffee and tea making facilities are provided. One of our rooms had a little kitchen and a seating/lounging area. The rooms are renovated, fresh and clean. The hotel is very centrally located in walking distance to almost everything - Monastiraki is a five minute walk away. We had booked two rooms - one for my husband and my son (11 years old) and one for my daughter (14 years old) and myself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Klepsydra Suites. Also bottles, napkins, cutlery and receipts are always falling into it. The restaurant oversees the penthouse terrace so diners are staring into your private area making it impossible to enjoy. Plus you can hear the music and people talking in the stairs directly outside the penthouse entrance (so rude). All night long you hear chairs being scraped along the floor because they are wrought iron (You would think they could put some felt pads on the legs). The major drawback is the rooftop restaurant directly above. The tvs were smart tvs but none of the functions worked and barely any English channels. There was a pull out sofa (not comfortable) in the lounge. The other bedroom had a double with a wardrobe. There was a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, desk and wardrobe. The kitchen had a small dishwasher, oven, fridge. The penthouse is spacious with a bathroom that has a good sized shower and another bathroom which is a toilet and sink. It’s well located for walking to all the major sites and for public transport. Our therapists set their own personal mask policy, you can find that information listed at the beginning of their profiles. Mask Policy: We appreciate it if you wear a mask in the reception area when checking in and out, but we do not require masks in the spa. Private sessions do not include the use of the hot tub, but you can add a general-use spa session after a 12pm private steam session.
